Canyons overlaid with mineral/oil/gas resources on various maps because that's what the cartographer chose to emphasize over other "attributes".
May there be much celebration! And then to the work of new management plans, processes, and allocating the resources to GSENM and BENM so they can be cherished for generations to come.
I'll be curious as the post-monument limbo shifts to retrospective analysis what damage was done since 2017 to the monuments. Leases, roads, unprotected recreation uses, etc.
