I have history working environmental projects with the Border Patrol & Corp so my response to more dams seems damn cynical and jaded… but in general, a job is a job is a job: If you currently have a job for the Corp or BP, you want to keep it; If you’re a consultant, then the company is fighting to bring projects in… period… A project means corporate profit even when understanding the inherent environmental damage said project will bring . It’s a never ending cycle that’s driven by profit & then by individuals needing to work; … it perpetuates itself and the land losses every time
Houston floods one to three times a year. They spend millions on flood damage every year. My daughter and I have thought about a pipeline from Houston to Phoenix to send us their flood waters. We are going to lose a lot of our water from the Colorado River in the very near future.

Damn good reporting, or Good dam reporting!
