I wonder if the Bureau of Reclamation funded that documentary or maybe the estate of Floyd Dominy. I guess one of the few good things that came out the 1983 damn dam problems was the run of the Emerald Mile and later Kevin Fedarko's riveting book.
Red Cliffs issue is familiar - have written at least one "comment" at various times. Really - a fricking highway thru a Conservation Area? Then the "resort homes" to increase all the problems already in place? More people, more draws on the water - more ridiculous green lawns? Are ALL these stakeholders heads jammed somewhere ? I wonder - is there a moment's thought that with the drought, wildfires etc etc., now might now be a good time to construct MORE?
