Our Mission
Founded in 2016, Ambient Church facilitates collective peak experiences through the soundscapes of modern contemplative, otherworldly, and universal music. Practicing a DIY ethic, we transform non-traditional spaces into transcendent audio-visual immersions by inviting pioneering, established, and emerging artists to present vibrant and ambitious works.
With an emphasis on education and environment, we seek a new historicism and contextualization for the canon of what is widely referred to as ambient music. Bringing together generations of sound artists, we hope to spark intergenerational exchange and illuminate an underacknowledged lineage of sonic exploration.
Ambient Church is proud to cultivate inclusive gatherings that welcome all people into transportive and architecturally rich spaces featuring site-specific visual art. At the end of the night, we are devoted to using our platform to explore and expand upon the tether between sound and spirituality.
