Devin Kenny is a multimodal artist, writer, musician, and intermittent curator.


Born on the South Side of Chicago, they moved to New York City as a teenager to study at The Cooper Union For The Advancement of Science And Art. Devin Kenny has since developed a multifaceted practice through programs such as the Bruce High Quality Foundation University, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and SOMA Mexico. Their work has been presented in collaboration with the Wig, Nuevo Constante, Arts of the Working Class, Triple Canopy, pooool, Issue Project Room, LA Road Concerts, Temporary Agency, and at various art and music venues across New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and internationally—including Salt Projects Beijing, Recess, Julia Stoschek Collection, Artspace Auckland, REDCAT, MoMA PS1, Freak City, Abrons Arts Center, Performance Space NY, The Kitchen, and Queens Museum. Kenny's writing has been featured in Real Life Mag, Bomb Magazine, Vice Media, and the New Inquiry, among others. Kenny earned their MFA in New Genres from UCLA in 2013 and is an alumnus of the Whitney Independent Study Program and the MFAH Core Program in Houston.
