Google Has Revealed the Top-Searched Cocktail Recipes in Every State
Floridians are drinking Cuba Libres and South Carolina's all about the tequila sunrise.
There's no right way to cope with the whole global pandemic, but there is a fun way -- and it involves celebrating happy hour whenever you damn well please. You can play virtual drinking games, attend online wine tastings, or make giant cosmos like our girl Ina Garten. But if you've tired of the same tequila soda routine and need a little cocktail inspiration, Google's got you.
The search giant has seen a surge in cocktail searches in the past few months, because naturally, we're all hitting the liquor cabinet a little harder in quarantine. So Google compiled a list of the top cocktail searches by state (and Washington, DC). "Don't worry, 'quarantini' is not on the list," a rep for the brand told Thrillist.
Google's list features the most "uniquely searched cocktails," aka what those states are searching for more than others. And from the looks of it, Georgianas are downing sazeracs, Delaware is all about the screwdriver, and New Yorkers are right on brand sipping Manhattans.
