About This Show

Nine classical Indian dancers take the stage in the debut performance of a series entitled ‘Kathak+’, where they will perform to everything from old Hindi film songs to Adele. Through their solo performances, these women seek to celebrate the ancient Indian art form of Kathak and share it in a language and simplicity of modern expression understandable by all. The show is produced and performed by graduates of the New York-based dance school For The Love of Dance.
