Help Joel Heal

For those of you that know Joel, you are no doubt already aware of the servant heart that beats in his chest. Whether he welcomed you as a guest at an event, cheered you on as a coworker, provided you a chair so you could sit, took your phone call at an unexpected time, prayed with you (even if you weren't that religious or anything) or perhaps you just laughed with him; this man has served thousands of people. For those of you who have never met Joel, let me catch you up on why we are banding together to help him.

 

In November of 2020, Joel went in for a routine surgery on his meniscus. Since that time 2 additional surgeries, new diagnoses and an unimaginable number of difficulties have continued to fall on Joel's lap. Since November of last year, he has not been able to bear weight on his knee. He has not been able to sit, sleep walk or participate in the parts of his life without experiencing physical pain (not to mention emotional ).  He has been working to heal, but the cost of living has been impossible to meet while he is trying to focus on getting well. 

We are working to help Joel pay back rent and future rent through the end of this year, totaling $7,500. The remaining $2,500 will be used for past due and future bills. With this help he can get well, be a Dad. Be a friend. Dream and hope again for future possibilities like his SHARE ministry .
