Welcome to the 2024 Best of Rhode Island® Reader’s Poll!

You’ve been patiently waiting. And the time is finally here! Our Best of Rhode Island online readers’ poll is now open and runs April 1 to 30. You may write in your choice of business for each category. There is only one vote per valid email address. Please note that we are only allowing 3 votes per IP addresses to ensure there is no ballot stuffing. Businesses should encourage patrons at their establishment to vote on their own devices using their own data plan. Voters will be able to return to the ballot throughout the month to change or complete their votes. The ballot continuously saves your write-ins, there is no save or submit button.

This year’s poll also includes ten! brand-new categories, including Statewide categories for Beauty Treatment (non-hair), Hotel/inn, Gluten-free-friendly business (changed from restaurants to allow bakeries and other food producers to enter), Date night activity, Chef, Bartender, Local newspaper/online news source, Catering (now a statewide category instead of wedding), Mocktails and Rhody Influencer (combines Rhody Love Instagram and Tik Tok star into one category).

We also kept new categories from last year, including Fine jewelry shop,  Small business that gives back, Traffic reporter, Photographer (non-wedding), Gym, Personal trainer, Fitness class, Cannabis dispensary and Restaurant/bar bathroom. Under Regional categories, we changed Healthy Restaurant to Vegan/Vegetarian Restaurant, and we also permanently added Specialty Food Shop. Learn more about these categories.

Each week over the voting period we will give away two tickets with a value of $200 to the 2024 Best of Rhode Island® Party to be held on July 25th at the WaterFire Arts Center.
