On this week’s edition of RT’s CrossTalk, I was invited to join Richard D. Wolff, and Lew Rockwell and Peter Lavelle to discuss the self-destructive character of western sanctions against Russia, the disaster of the Ukraine conflict, breakdown of the western financial system, fallacy of the Green New Deal and much more.
Interesting, but while some topics were dealt with very well, and astutely, the subject of Covid is still being treated as an actual disease, which is not helping people to understand really what is going on... I did think it was pretty good, tho, except Matt, you didn't get to say enough! ;)
Peter Lavelle is a delight, he's so excitable! Great conversation. I'm not sure Wolff fully gets it that crashing the economy isn't necessarily an unintended consequence. And not everyone is alarmed by astronomic inequality. Raising the interest rates will shake out anyone holding a variable mortgage, so that's more houses for Blackrock and Vanguard. We're well on our way to owning nothing!
